Our Soldiers

Remembering the names and deeds of those who served our nations is not a "once-a-year" occasion. This portion of our web-site will be as permanent as the site itself.

Most of the names you will find in here are descendants or spouses of descendants of David and Deborah (White) Eaton, however there are a few who, by reason of being in the main file, are included.

Geography and surname have not been considered. You will find soldiers from Canada, USA, New Zealand and potentially more.

    About the files:

    1) Information available for South Africa and before is scant, but whatever we have found is presented.
    2) Enlistment papers, when marked, are available on the main site in the individual's file.
    3) Records for World War II and more current are not available until 75 years after the end of the conflict. We have presented only the recorded casualties.

    These are Our Soldiers:

South African (Boer) War

World War I

World War II

If you notice a deficiency or wish to add to these lists, please feel free to advise me.

This is a work in progress.
